REVELSTOKE

January 7, 2012

I got invited to judge the World Freeride contest in Revelstoke.  This is a contest with riders from the North Face Masters Series and The World Freeride Series.  Only 20 men riders and 10 female riders were invited to compete on a one run course that is a Heli drop.  There was some great riding that went down.

Tahoe resorts are open but the wind keeps making WAVES!

December 4, 2011

Tahoe is having a slow start for snow but the resorts are open people are out getting their legs in shape. Mean while the wind events that have hit California have been kicking up the waves on Tahoe again.  We got surf the West Shore with the North winds.  Here are a few shots from the past surf sessions.

Winter Kicking in with surf on Tahoe

November 19, 2011

It is that time of the year for the wind to start driving the storms toward Tahoe creating surf.  And the photos below are what happens on the front end, and snow is what happens on the back end.  You can see the storm on its way over the ridge.

Oct. 4 , first storm of the season

November 10, 2011

The first storm of the season hit Tahoe October 4 and left up to two feet of new.  A nice start to the season.  I had to go make a few runs.  It is always nice to start the season off with some powder!

TAHOE GOING OFF, 2 FEET PLUS JUNE 6TH !!!!!!!!

June 6, 2011

Yes, it is June 6th and winter will not go away.   I went out riding with a few friends this morning.  I was riding my Split Swallowtail and it was deep.  It is Junuary in my book.  Hope everyone has as big of powder smiles as we do.  The Tahoe season rocks on.  Sorry there are no photos of the board in action,(I had the only camera), but I hope these pictures give a clue of how good it is.
