Wanna see my Winterstick DIY split-board? I just finished it and tested it in Tahoe backcountry. Used to live in T-ride by the way…how was the winter there? I didn’t get a chance to go this year. Also am looking to split a new board…possibly another Winterstick any ideas? See ya, Eric W

Just rode the TB Pro Split for a review. One word sums this up. Sickness. I have not enjoyed a split this much in some time. As a back country only rider (ie. sick of the resort and not buying a pass again until my two year old is old enough to start to ride the steeps he is just finishing his second season on a board) I would make this my go to split. Wondering about price and production #’s. Let me know what I have to do to get this board. Good work Tom!

Do you know if the Documentary on CK ever made it to DVD? We couldn t get to Berkley.

Hi Tom,

I’m a big fan of yours and was excited to read this review.

It’s the first analysis of how a swallowtail works in pow, or how a snowboard should be ridden in pow, for that matter, that I’ve ever been able to relate to: “…drive foward…glide through powder”. Spot on.

But then again, you would know!
